J38 Cookie - Whale Feature
This month we’re featuring J38, a Southern Resident Killer Whale in J pod named Cookie.

J38 is a large 19 year old male born in 2003. He is the son, and only living offspring of J22 - Oreo.
J38’s older brother J34 (Doublestuf) died in 2016 of blunt force trauma from a vessel strike, making J38 and his mother the only two whales left in their matriline.
