How to Get To Alert Bay
From Vancouver
Take a ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo on BC Ferries.
There are also flights from Vancouver to Port Hardy, Port McNeill and Alert Bay on Pacific Coastal.
From Nanaimo
Drive north on Hwy 19 to Port McNeill. You can find bus schedule information online at Greyhound.
From Port McNeill
Take the 45-minute ferry from Port McNeill to Alert Bay on BC Ferries.
From Port Hardy
If you fly into Port Hardy or take the ferry to Port Hardy from Prince Rupert you can either take a taxi into Port Hardy and catch
the bus to Port McNeill or you can take a taxi directly to Port McNeill.
